Dear Parents,
Taunton Youth 2019 - 20 Subs
Currently with no firm decision from the JPL the committee has decided to suspend the season as of 16th March 2020. Subs therefore will be applicable up to and including that date. Currently a reconciliation is being conducted and each parent will be contacted in due course in relation to their individual position regarding subs paid / any outstanding / any refund due.
We anticipate any monies due back will be applied as a credit to the next season unless in individual cases a request for a refund is received.
Please ensure all bank mandates making payments to the Taunton Youth account are now cancelled.
Player Awards
Despite the recent email advising that we won’t be having an end of term presentation, we would still like to recognise the efforts from the 19/20 season at some point. Therefore, we will be canvassing for Players’ Player and Supporters’ Player - with 3 points, 2 points and 1 point as previously for 1st 2nd and 3rd choice. No-one can vote for themselves or their son/daughter/relative.
There’s no limit to the number of supporters / parents who can vote. Anyone who feels they have watched enough football to pass judgement can do so.
Kit is refreshed every two years so players selected for next season's match squad from the current U12's, U13's and U15 Blues will receive new playing kit. Can parents please ensure that all current match kit is returned to the age group manager. Players however can keep the old kit in return for a £10 donation to the club. If the players do not want to keep the kit, we will donate unwanted items to Kit Aid as per last year.
The JPL will be making use of the FA Whole Game System (WGS) for the 2020 / 21 season with a requirement for every player competing in the league is to have a FAN (FA Number). The Youth site has now been amended to allow parents to edit information relating to both themselves and their children.
If you intend on remaining with the club, then whilst times are 'quiet' I am requesting you register your child as a player on the WGS. Information on how to do this is available via this download
If your child plays in the Taunton Youth League, they will already have a FAN and will already be registered. For any Galmington Dragons players, please contact me via email: neil.white@galmington

If you have and know your FAN number you can amend your user name to reflect that under parent details. Otherwise for any other user name changes please contact me as any amendments needs to be unique.
I would also like to update the age group 'pen pics'. Therefore could I have a head and shoulders shot of each player, example below....

We will continue to inform you regarding developments. The club will follow Government advice in relation to dealing with the COVID-19 situation and take the lead from both the Somerset FA and English FA.
